I'm not sure but I think that Fuffy is one of the main fanon ships (after Spangel of course ) and I've read some propaganda from fuffy shippers, some of which believe that it's really canon. Mostly they base this theory on Faith's behavior toward Buffy and in the subtext of many of her lines and well, and I've been thinking... in spite of Faith's behaviour I don't believe she was attracted to Buffy or generally speaking to girls. There is nothing in her story, during the shows or the comics, hinting that she's gay or bi and she's never showed any sexual interest or curiosity toward her same sex.

But Buffy has. In the comics she has a fling with another girl, Satsu. I haven't yet read it, just heard of it and it seems that she's made clear that she isn't gay and she doesn't repeat it. I think she was experimenting and this surely means that she was curious and open to gay experiences. And I'm starting to think that that this curiosity started with Faith and that Buffy was sexually attracted by Faith, and also that Faith, being a smart girl, must have felt it, that's why she had that sometime flirting behavior with her. It wasn't because she wanted something from Buffy but because she knew that Buffy did and had fun playing with her.

I'd like to know if someone else thinks the same!
