Do you believe that Angel wanted to help Buffy in the beginning? I don't. I think that if that was what he really wanted he would have acted differently... I don't know, he could have gone to her Watcher or openly to her, whatever. But he shouldn't have stalked her, studying her like a predator with its prey, and then hiding his true identity. I just don't buy that his intentions were good.
