I agree with you ollie I feel the same about the characters! and the plots holes, yes, in my rewatch I'm realizing that there are even more than I remembered. I think as well that the writers could have done better but I have the feeling that they weren't aware of the great impact the show was going to have, they just wanted to make a show for teenager imo But isn't it amazing that even with all the issues it has, there still are a lot of fans talking of the show after all these years? And maybe part of the reason is exactly because of those issues lol
