Faith was called as a Slayer when she was already 18 yo and this is unusual because from what we know slayers should be called when they are much younger. Because of this she was never subjected to the Cruciamentum so I was wondering if the test would have been the same and how she would have fared. She would have survided it like Buffy did or would she have been killed instead?

I can't really make my mind on this but I think Buffy is portrayed as being special, because of all those she loves and that love her back. While Faith had no one at the time, so I vote for her being killed. I would have liked to see some other slayer going thriugh the Cruciamentum!

I think she would have died as well. She was strong but not as resourceul as Buffy. Just think at when she first arrives in Sunnydale, she was running from that vampire, can't remember the name, who had killed her Watcher and she was very afraid and looking for Buffy's help. And she was older and more trained than Buffy! No way she would have survived the Cruciamentum imo
And yes, it would have been interesting to see others Slayers go through the test!

Actually, Faith being called when she was 18 isn't necessarily canon - IIRC, it's from the non-canon book 'Go Ask Malice', whereas the show itself seems to be far more clear on the idea that Faith is a little younger than Buffy (not tons, but a little).
By the time the Cruciamentum came up for her, it was probably too late. And while Faith wasn't necessarily as resourceful as Buffy, it's clear that the Council picks vamps with easily exploitable weaknesses, like Kralik's obsession with taking his pills with water, etc. Faith isn't an idiot - if she could survive the initial onslaught, she could probably pull something similar to Buffy, though probably with less Style points. IMO.

IMO. I can see your point, if Faith is 18 when she arrives in Sunnydale in s3 and she was called in s2 when kendra was killed... ok, no, I'm confused what do you mean with too late? I don't know about Faith being as resourceful as Buffy though, not at that time at least. which doesn't mean that she's stupid but she did go looking for Buffy because she couldn't deal alone with that vampire, so I don't know how much she could have done without her powers

I mean too late in the sense that by the time her Cruciamentum would have come up, assuming she's younger than buffy, she was evil or in a coma.
Buffy's plan for Kralik was especially flairy - all you really needed to do was make him drop his pills and stake him while he's bent over. Anyone can do that. Like I said, Faith's result would have less style points.

I don't know why I was convinced that Faith was much older than Buffy, not because of that book though.. it must be because of her wordly attitude or because she didn't go to school, but your theory about why she didn't do the Cruciamentum makes a lot more sense. But I still think she wouldn't survive it, she was too mentally disturbed at the time

She would totally survive ! Come on ...faith is strong and smart! I agree with you that Faith is strong and smart but here there is a timeline issue. The Cruciamentum has to be done the exact day of the 18th birthday and as Alkeni noted Faith's 18 birthday happens later, probably when she is in coma, that's why she never went throught the test. But if she hadn't been in coma how would she have been? remember how she acted when she swiched body with Buffy? she was totally out of her mind, how could she be able to take out a vampire like Kralik without her powers? I don't think she could, not at that time of her life
