I feel ATS is more about compromising compared to Buffy. In S7 Buffy refuses to have more powers because that would mean having a demon inside of her (well, MORE demon lol) and because she doesn't trust those men, while Cordelia accepts the offer made by a stranger and a demon one. I admit that I don't remember very well that episode, but wasn't also the prospect of becoming a sort of goddess to entice her? So, why did she accept? To become a goddess? To avoid dying? Was she stupid? vain? selfish? or was she just desperate?
